More condos landing in downtown Scottsdale

Infill developer Deco Communities is delivering a second condo development in downtown Scottsdale.

The Inspire Downtown Scottsdale condos will officially open June 17. The residential development is located on Earll Drive near Drinkwater Boulevard.

There are 97 Inspire condos. They were designed by Los Angeles architect Daniel Gehman of Humphrey & Partners.

“Downtown Scottsdale and the SkySong corridor is undergoing an exciting urban renaissance that is quickly transforming the area and creating significant demand for high-quality and affordable homes,” said Robert Lyles, a partner with Deco Communities. “We are extremely proud to deliver a property that is fresh, modern, affordable and offers a true resort lifestyle in one of the Valley’s most sought after urban neighborhoods.”

The interiors of the condos were designed by Morgan Kofron and Private Label International.

Pricing at the Deco condos start in the $300,000s.

The condos have one- and two-bedroom floor plans ranging from 800 to 1,500 square feet. They also have 1G fiber-optic service for the property’s built-in WiFi.

The condos also have a 1,000-square-foot fitness center, electric car charging station and secured bike room.

“What’s exceptional about the current market is that downtown Scottsdale has rapidly become one of the hottest urban condominium markets in US,” said Jack Luciano, a partner with The Agency, the broker of record for Inspire Downtown Scottsdale.

Condo developments and plans took it hard during the last recession and real estate crash. A number of those projects were also caught in the downfall of commercial lender Mortgages Ltd.

But now, condos are trying to make comeback on Scottsdale and parts of central Phoenix.
